Traffic Advisory: Publix Fort Lauderdale A1A Marathon, Half Marathon & Celsius 5K February 17-18

The following traffic advisory will be in effect on Saturday, February 17, 2024, for the Celsius Fort Lauderdale 5K event.

From 7 to 11 a.m., the following traffic restrictions are in effect:

  • One eastbound lane and one westbound lane of Las Olas Boulevard will be closed from SE 3rd Avenue to SE 25th Avenue (from the Merrill Lynch Building to Las Olas Bridge).
The following traffic advisory will be in effect on Sunday, February 18, 2024, for the Publix Fort Lauderdale A1A Marathon and Half Marathon event.

From 5:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., the following traffic restrictions are in effect:

  • A1A will be closed from Fort Lauderdale Beach Park (1100 Seabreeze Boulevard) to NE 42nd Court.
    • A1A northbound lanes will be closed from 800 Seabreeze Boulevard to Oakland Park Boulevard.
    • There will be a counterflow on the southbound lanes of A1A/Seabreeze Boulevard from the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach to Sunrise Boulevard, which means one lane will travel southbound and one lane will travel northbound.
    • All A1A northbound lanes will be closed from Sunrise Boulevard to Oakland Park Boulevard. Traffic will only be able to proceed south. A1A northbound travelers will be diverted west to Bayview Drive or Federal Highway/US-1.
    • One A1A northbound lane will be closed from Oakland Park Boulevard to NE 42nd Court.
  • The starting and finish lines will be in the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park lot.
  • Runners will continue south from the parking lot to Mayan Drive and north into Harbor Beach.
  • The runners will exit Harbor Beach at the SE 17th ramp and then head north on Seabreeze Blvd to NE 42nd Court.
