Fort Lauderdale's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a federally funded volunteer program that educates people about disaster preparedness. After completing training requirements, CERT members will have the skills and knowledge to assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an emergency event.

Orientation / training takes place over two days from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Saturday, February 24 & Saturday, March 2). New members must attend both trainings to receive CERT certification. Note there is a $5 optional fee that covers brunch on both orientation/training days.

Space is limited! Click here to register. Click here to learn more about CERT.
